Network of European Mobile Planetaria

NPA is happy to support the Network of European Mobile Planetaria. As they do not have a website of their own (yet) we are happy to announce that their first online meetup will be as follows:

The planning of a European Mobile Dome network will take place

online on Wednesday afternoon, January 22nd 2025 at 14:00 GMT

(which is 2pm in London, 3pm in Berlin and 4pm in Helsinki).

Background: A number of planetarians attending IPS in Berlin discussed that there was a need for the mobile domes in Europe to get together, network and/or collaborate more. This idea is far from new. It has bubbled up before in various corners - but perhaps it is time to take it a step further.

A few NPA board members (Anna, Margus, Jonna) were of the opinion that this was an excellent idea, and promised that NPA could be supportive if and when support is needed.
